This thesis deals with the problems of the current financial indicators of the company ELKOV elektro a.s. This work focuses on the use of analysis of selected financial indicators that assess the financial health of the company and statistical tools with which their development is determinated. The aim of the work is to assess the current situation of the company and identify appropriate solutions from unfavorable values and development that would improve the financial situation of the company.

The theoretical part focuses on financial analysis and available methods of financing business acitivites and analytical part contains theoretical knowledge applied to the selected company. The last part of the master´s thesis, proposal part contains solution increasing financial stability and leading to desirable development of business activities of the selected company.

The master´s thesis evaluates the economic situation of the company SCHWARTZ TECHNICKÉ PLASTY ČR s. r. o. using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes the issues necessary for the practical part, financial indicators, time series, regression and correlation analysis. In the practical part is an analysis of selected indicators of financial analysis, then statistical methods are used to predict future developments for the coming two years and to detect dependencies between the indexes. The last section contains suggestions for improving the current situation, which are based on calculations from the practical part.

The subject of the bachelor thesis is the assessment of the financial condition of the company Slevarex s.r.o. Implemented in the years 2015 to 2019. The work is divided into free chapters, the first chapter is focused on the theoretical foundations of the work. The second chapter presents the current financial condition of the company and the third chapter proposes measures and interventions that can help improve the financial condition of key areas.

The thesis deals with the issue of consolidated financial statement in a selected holding and in its economic appreciation before the expansion of the consolidated group and after its change. The first part of the thesis includes theoretical knowledge for consolidated financial statement which are subsequently applied in the creation of new consolidated financial statements related to the expansion of the consolidated group. The conclusion of the thesis is dedicted to the comparison of consolidated financial statements.

Evaluation of the Financial Situation of a Company and Proposals for its Improvement

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the financial situation of the company and suggestions for its improvement. This was done on the basis of a financial and strategic analysis, which I processed from 2016-2020. In the theoretical part, I generally described the financial analysis in the individual chapters, the work also explains the financial indicators, including the basic formulas for its compilation. In the analytical part, I introduced the company PRAMOS, a.s. and applied basic financial indicators to it. According to them, I also evaluated the financial situation. The last part contains suggestions for improving the overall condition of the company.
